A weekend of rest, reflection, silence and prayer

This retreat will give you an opportunity to connect with other Spiritual Directors who are also accompanying people who seek to deepen their relationship with God.  You are invited to' come apart' for a time to feel supported, encouraged and refreshed for this beautiful ministry and to set time aside for yourself to slow down and reconnect with your call to this work of the Holy Spirit.

Arrive in time for supper at 7pm on Friday and depart by 3pm on Sunday.

Sister Anne has spent her Religious Life in helping to bring the vision of the founder of the Sisters of the Christian Retreat to life in the House of Prayer For most of the last 30 years Anne has led retreats, been a Spiritual Director, is a Supervisor, and although qualified as a Psychosynthesis Counsellor she no longer has a practice, but she still draws on those skills and creativity in her day to day life. The following words of John XX111 have been meaningful for her: “Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.”  She is interested to see what is still possible!

Nicola works as a spiritual director and retreat leader and is also a tutor on the Ignatian Spirituality and Spiritual Direction course at the London Jesuit Centre. She is consecrated to the single life, and lives in East London.
